ABOUT
Video tells powerful stories
Whether you want to market, motivate, educate or inspire, Carr Productions can bring your story to life.
PRE-PROD
What happens before the camera rolls is crucial to a successful project. Working to define the goals of a video helps to streamline the entire process and make it more efficient. Having a clear idea of who will be watching a video and knowing what you want those viewers to “take away” is crucial.
Focusing on your goals, I will work with you to develop ideas, plan and organize the project. Together we’ll determine what key elements best deliver your message and what level of production you’ll need.
PRODUCTION
Scheduling and coordination of a shoot is another crucial aspect of video production. I ensure the right professionals are involved every step of the way and that the project is scheduled efficiently.
I supervise the shoot and conduct interviews to make sure the right message is conveyed in the best way possible.
POST-PROD
Getting the footage is only half the process. I pride myself on having the skill and patience to take interviews and footage and craft them into the kind of compelling story that engages and interests viewers. I review footage, write scripts and assemble music and graphics.
My many years in television and video production have given me a network of talented specialists to collaborate with and add production value to any video. I work with my clients to refine and hone the finished product.
Satisfied Clients
Melinda Kane of Emory Healthcare says:
We have worked with Bob on multiple projects over the years and will continue to utilize his services as he consistently delivers a stellar finished product and is a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Bob has a unique ability to put the interviewee at ease to achieve the best possible interview once the camera is rolling.
We know that we will get a sincere and powerful message delivered to our audience when we work with Bob. He always offers creative suggestions for edits but is also very sensitive about what his client wants to see. He communicates very clearly to make sure the finished product is exactly what we want, but better than we had envisioned it to be.
I highly recommend Bob for his honesty, talent, amiability and professional resources. As someone who is so brilliant to work with, he has secured the best and most talented contacts in the industry, giving his clients access to a highly capable production team that can meet the most basic or complex project.
Ian McFarland, Associate Dean at Candler School of Theology says:
We needed to produce a 30-minute educational video suitable for national distribution in four months. None of our staff had any experience with this kind of work.
Bob was the consummate professional: always on time, staying in close touch with us at every point in the process, and producing a final product that continues to wow our stakeholders. And if that weren’t enough, he was just plain fun to work with.
Maggie Gillespie of Winship Cancer Institute says:
Carr Productions has worked with Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University on several projects to promote awareness and support in the community. As Producer, Bob Carr clearly understands our mission and conducts sensitive and insightful patient and physician interviews which elicit the exact responses we need to convey our message.
His film crew is also extremely professional, and respectful of the sensitivity and privacy of our patients. Our finished videos have been excellent, and well received by all who view them. We can recommend Carr Productions with confidence.
